Sun Review and Giveaway

Sun is a great laundry detergent company! They are one of the cheaper brands out there, but from all I’ve seen, they are not lower in quality. There is so much out there about how you get what you pay for, and the more pricey brands contain more detergent or cleaners or whatnot… Phooey. Sun got all bubbly in my washer and my clothes came out clean. Just what I look for in a laundry detergent!

I was able to review a bottle of the liquid 2x concentrated detergent. It worked just great! I would definitely buy this brand again.

Buy it!
You can purchase any of the great items from Sun in pretty much any store out there that sells laundry detergents.

Win it!
Sun has generously offered FIVE of my fabulous readers a coupon for a bottle or box [max 49 ounces] of their own Sun Laundry Detergent! WOW!!

To enter, leave me a comment about the worst laundry mishap you’ve experienced. **THIS IS REQUIRED!!**

  3. My worst laundry mishap was doing new dark colors that i didn't realize would bleed, and I accidently threw in hubbys favorite "comfy" white shirt! Needless to say, it isnt white anymore, its more of a light purple/blue color, but he still wears it because its comfortable! LOL!

  7. My worst laundry mishap.. My daughters New blue shirt. and for some reason the colors RAN all over the place and it came out all streaky and faded and it was a MESS. Of course it was HER favorite shirt and it was MY fault. I felt like DIRT. To be honest, I think it was CHEAP fabric, but oh well, I will never live that one down!
Thanks so much for the chance to win!!

  13. Worst laundry mishap is EASY... that was the time we were out of laundry detergent and my boyfriend thought that dish soap was an acceptable substitute. IT'S NOT. IT'S A BAD IDEA. Until you try it, you really have no idea how many bubbles can come out of a washing machine when you put dish soap in it. We're lucky we didn't all die from suffocation or near bubble drowning. It was just like a scene from a bad comedy movie, I kid you not.

By the way, I use Sun detergent and love it. My mom came over and did her laundry at my house and commented about how much she loved how her clothes smelled afterward.

  16. My very worst laundy mishap was when my son erroneously poured bleach into a wash load of darks. He had misunderstood what I asked him to do and there went a whole load of clothes to the dumpster.

  25. gawd, you really wanna know? Ok, this just happened July 1st. I have a habit of stuffing my washer big time. The ancient washer that came with the house finally had it-keeled over and stopped working. So my mom, who has had a brand NEW washing machine for about 10 yrs in a box on her porch because she had no hookups gave me her new one to use. When I unpacked it, and saw how darn small that 2.4 drum was I knew it was going to be a goner. We were going on vacation and I started washing the clothes. I was proud of myself as the first load was done and I started loading up the bath towels. Being only towels, how much could they weigh, right? So I stuffed'em-and as soon as my machine got to the spin cycle it started to shudder violently. Yup, I killed it-on the second wash! Hubby now has some new machines coming my way-ones I have wanted for a long, long time. I just wish I hadn't ruined a brand new washer so quickly :( so far, that has been my worst laundry moment, before that, it was the pack of gum in the dryer...but that is another story!

  28. I bought the most expensive pretty white blouse and it was meant to be dry clean only. I accidentally tossed it in with the laundry to be done. Needless to say I did the whites with the blouse in with them...RUINED!!!!!! I am much more careful now and make sure I check what is being thrown in the washer before starting the cycle
