Conserve Review!
Everyone is talking about being green lately. From using less, to recycling more, it's all the rage. I found a company that is super green, but also cleans! Nothing better.

Conserve is a brand that aims to use less packaging, while also using extremely natural ingredients in all of their cleaners. They offer cleaners in tablet form, and you get four tablets for each bottle you buy [just reduced the waste by three]. Holy green, Batman. They also offer disposable plates and bowls and silverware, made from cane sugar and starch. WHAT?! That means that it's biodegrable AND compostable. In the right conditions, your dishes turn back to 'nature'. On top of that magnificent stuff, they offer flashlights that are powered by squeezing or turning a crank [no batteries needed - just brute strength :)] and latex-free rubber bands [great for people with latex allergies (like me!)]. They are a freaking green company, okay?
I got to try all four of Conserve's cleaners. I feel like I should tell you that I was definitely a skeptic. How can one little tablet of cleaner that I dissolve into a bottle of warm water actually clean? Well, little one, clean it does! The first thing I tried was the glass cleaner, and it cleans glass. Easily as well as the other stuff [you know what I'm talking about], but without the chemical-y smell; their glass cleaner actually smells good! Score. I was stoked. After that, I tried the multi-surface cleaner, on the stove. How brutal of me. So I spray it down, leave it for 30 seconds or so, and wipe. And what do you think happened? The nasty stuff was GONE! I couldn't wait to try the bathroom cleaner. I sprayed down the sink, and ta da! Clean. Last but not least for sure was the odor eliminator. You have all heard that I'm not big on smells by now. Well, I was worried. The bottle says lavender but sometimes you don't get what you expect. I sprayed down a small space of carpet and let it dry, and I'm not even kidding, it smelled lovely. Compared to the carpet that I didn't spray, it was fantastical. I am a HUGE fan of the Conserve cleaners. HUGE fan. Plus, when you take the price [$10 for each] and divide it by four [because that's how many bottles you'll get out] their prices are great.
My suggestion? Buy it and love it. Because I know you will.

Winnie the Pooh Review!
I've loved Winnie the Pooh since I was really little. Well, more Tigger than Winnie the Pooh, but still. When I babysat my little sister [who is currently recovering from a mighty bad appendectomy (LOVE YOU! get better!)] when she was around 4, Winnie the Pooh was all she ever wanted to watch. So when I got the opportunity to review the latest edition to the Winne the Pooh movie line, I jumped on it!
The newest release is called Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine For You. And it's freaking adorable. Without giving too much away, Winnie the Pooh and his friends think Christopher Robin has been bitten by a love bug [called "Smitten" - CUTE!] and they are trying to find it.
The DVD has that story, plus two others you can watch ["Un-Valentine's Day" and "Three Little Piglets"]. And, there is a game called "Catch the Love Bug" where you go around the 100 Acre Woods and catch as many love bugs as you can. AND I got myself a cute little set of Valentine's Day cards that come with the DVD! WOOT! [Yes, I'm keeping them, because I found them first. Punk has her own. :)]
To sum it up: I loved it. Punk loved it. And you will, too. So go get it!
I was given a copy of Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine For You but my opinions are my own and were not influenced by that.

EcoStore USA Review and Giveaway!
Have you ever heard of EcoStore USA? If not, I suggest getting acquainted with them. They are a company that's been in New Zealand for 20 years now, and finally decided the US was a great place to do business as well. They make plant-based cleaning products. [Cool!]
So, EcoStore USA sent me a couple of things to review. Yes, they sent them for free, and yes, my opinions are my real opinions and I was not forced to review their stuff on my blog. Good? Okay, let's continue. I got to review their citrus spray cleaner and liquid laundry detergent.
First, let's talk about the spray cleaner. This stuff ROCKS. With as busy as I've been lately, the house has kind of been my last priority. When I got this, I figured I would try it out on the dirtiest place in the house - the stovetop. I sprayed it on, let it sit for probably 30 seconds, and then wiped. And you know what? It cleaned everything! This stuff is every bit as good, if not better, than the chlorine stuff I had been using, and it is WAAAAAAY better for you and for the environment. I ♥ it.
Next, the laundry liquid. The first thing I noticed about this was that it actually smells natural! There are a couple of products I've purchased that claim to be green, but still smell like cleaner when you open them. How can something be natural and still stink like chemicals? Not this stuff! You can tell it is made with all-natural ingredients. Plus, it works like a charm in the laundry. Again, just as good, if not better, than the icky bad-for-your-body stuff.
I really appreciate the opportunity to review EcoStore USA because it will be a staple in our house now. Plus, they are on Twitter and Facebook, so they are totally up-to-date on social networking. I love that in a company!
You want the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to EcoStore USA? You can, right here! Two ways to win:
1. Leave me a comment, about what you want to try from EcoStore USA.
2. Join their mailing list, by going to their blog [this is worth 3 extra entries! leave 3 comments, please]
Pretty simple, yes? Just make sure to enter by midnight on January 30th, mmmkay?

Tropical Traditions Review & Giveaway!
I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve had my unfortunate run-ins with bleach. Pink spots on my dark shirts, white spots on my jeans… it got to the point where I swore I would never use bleach again. But, how can I pass up the opportunity to try something when it’s from Tropical Traditions? They are my favorite. And, it’s oxygen bleach rather than chlorine bleach, so no horrible side effects, and it’s better for the environment! How can you go wrong?
Tropical Traditions' oxygen bleach is based on sodium precarbonate, which uses oxygen for destaining and deodorizing. So, you can use it for pretty much anything in the house and it’s safe. You can use it in your laundry, which I did, and seriously – my whites are whiter and my clothes are cleaner and my washer smells better. I’m super satisfied with it in the laundry! But that’s not all it is good for. You can also use it to clean stained plasticware (like all those bowls you heated spaghettios in and totally turned orange… wait, that was me… never mind). You can use it to clean the toilet. You can use it to clean the bathrub, the garbage cans, the carpets… Okay, just about anything. Does that sum it up?
I could not be happier with the oxygen bleach that Tropical Traditions sent me to review. And I want one of you to be just as happy! I know you want to try it, so enter here!
There are multiple ways to win.
1 – leave me a comment.
2 – sign up for the Tropical Traditions newsletter (3 entries, please leave a separate comment for each!)
The contest will run through midnight on Wednesday, January 20th; so be sure to get your entries in before then!
PS – did you know Tropical Traditions now has a coconut recipe website? Ceck it out! Oh yah, and there’s this: Tropical Traditions provided me with a free sample of this product to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review or sponsor a product giveaway in return for the free product. Mmmkay?

Please Stay Tuned
Let me wrap up the last two weeks for you.
Didn't start Christmas shopping until the 21st because I just plain didn't have time to do it until then.
Stayed up until at least 2:00am the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd trying to get everything ready (and then woke up at 6:00am for work all of those days).

Christmas day - had to drive 30 minutes to pick up Punk, came to our house and did Christmas, went to my family celebration, went to the in-laws' celebration, came home and played Nightmare Before Christmas Monopoly until 5:00am. WTH? And yes, I'm a bad Mommy, because Punk totally stayed up until 5:00am with Husband and I.
Fast forward to the next week, Tuesday. Got a kidney infection. Can't afford to not work, so I went to work with a terrible fever and some serious pain. And then again Wednesday. And then again Thursday.
Threw a New Year's party in spite of the kidneys; had a blast. Woke up yesterday morning wishing I had just gone to bed.
My fever is still there, my tonsils are so swollen they are touching, I can't breath, and my kidneys just keep reminding me they are definitely there. I tried to come up with something to blog about today but this is as good as it will get. I have no inspiration today.

I feel like I need to do an end-of-year wrap-up, because TAMN did (and totally rocked it... LOL), so I'll get around to that. I just wanted to say a quick hi to all of my favorite bloggy friends! And I'll be back. Unless this infection gets any worse.
Have a good weekend!
