Handmade Monday - the super easy Cricut style.

I made these stickers for my Dad for his birthday. He has a yellow Jeep; it's a two-door Wrangler but it's the extended one, and he calls it his short bus.

These were incredibly easy. I found a silhouette picture of a Jeep online, then made it into a cut file with Inkscape. It wouldn't let me use the font I wanted, so I had to create a .jpg file of the text in Paint and then convert that to a cut file as well. It wasn't as 'rock-looking' as I wanted it, so I added chunks and pieces missing until I was happy with it. Then I imported it into SCAL and cut it in yellow vinyl with my Cricut. I love the way it turned out!

If you want any vinyl cut, let me know. I have a crapload of vinyl in, like, every color known to man. And I enjoy making stuff like this!

  1. I love it Kendahl!!! Did your dad love it - I bet he did. That is so funny that he calls it that. I've wondered about those cutter things. I might have to dig into it some day.

    Love it!
