My Husband is driven. He hates sitting around when there is so much he could be doing. So I really love the days when he decides just chilling all day is okay. They are good kinds of days. Especially when he takes me to Noodles&Co. Mmmmmm.
I hope you all had a good, long weekend. I hope you thought at least for a second about all the people out there, fighting for our freedom - whether you agree with it or not. We stopped by some graves; packed ourselves into the cemetery with the other hundred thousand people or so.
I've experienced quite a bit of death in my lifetime but yesterday was thinking back and I cannot remember a single burial ceremony, and barely any funeral services. I think I block it out of my memory or something. Probably not normal.
Anyway, back to reality today, where people have to work. Maybe since the snow cone stands and water parks officially opened yesterday, Mother Nature will realize it's supposed to be summer now and stop with the hijinks. Eh?
The weather screwing with me is causing me to be sick. And it's not fun. I've got this awesome cough that sounds like I am literally three seconds from losing a lung, and it HURTS! Like, all capital letters and an exclamation point and everything. HURTS.
